MOUNT VELINO (2486m)

We chose to go to Mount Velino because he had already been there and he told it was amazing. 2 weeks later coming back home, I took the backpack that had been my home for a month and I prepared myself to spend the night out, as the mountain has a bivouc where we aimed to spend the night.

The hike going up was amazing but as soon as we arrived to the bivouc we heard voices. Many voices. The tiny building was filled with 4 men and a child. They hiked up to Mount Velino because the day after (the second sunday of July) there was a special mass on top of the mountain.

They offered us food and wine and of course we accepted. We spent hours together before me and AGF decided to start walking again in the sorroundings of the mountain.

In the meantime, we took some of my favorites photos ever with my dad's 1985 Canon AE-1 Program film camera. I also took a short video with my drone. Hope you like them :)
