ORFENTO VALLEY

If you choose to go to one of the valley's many medieval hermitages (carved in stone by the water in the millenia) you have first to descend into the valley and and along the Orfento river.

From there you follow the course of the water which, slowly but surely, continues to shape the environment around you. If you look up and to the sides, you will see the mountains around you that with many caves seem to be staring at you.

In a way, even if you are going here alone, you will not feel alone.
